Sallie Ervin Honored at Missouri Governor’s Mansion

On March 11, 2008, Ervin Marketing’s CEO & Chief Creative Officer Sallie Ervin joined Missouri’s First Lady Melanie Blunt at the capital for the state’s inaugural First Lady Awards. The awards honor Missouri women who have made contributions to the state through their leadership in Business and Innovation, Culture and Humanities, Education, Health and Wellness, and Volunteerism.

Sallie was honored as a nominee in the category of Health and Wellness, in recognition of her extensive career as a healthcare marketer with clients that include Missouri-based SSM Health Care and Ascension Health. Sallie accepted the award from the First Lady at the Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City.

The event was coordinated with the cooperation of the Missouri Women’s Council, and was celebrated as part of Women’s History Month. More than 300 Missouri women were recognized during the event.
